Wellness Complete Health Whitefish & Sweet Potato Dry Dog Food is a limited-ingredient recipe of nutrient-rich whole foods, like whitefish, ground pearled barley, sweet potatoes and ground flaxseed, to fulfill the unique health needs of your dog. The Whitefish & Sweet Potato recipe is made with carefully chosen, authentic ingredients for 100% complete and balanced nutrition for all life stages. It provides whole-body nutritional support and promotes healthy skin and digestive function. No animal by-products, wheat, soy, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives are added. It's unconditional love and uncompromising nutrition.

Fish is the only animal protein source used in this recipe, providing a great dietary alternative for dogs with sensitive stomachs and food intolerance. This omega-rich ingredient is complemented by an easily digestible carbohydrate blend that includes sweet potatoes and de-hulled barley. A special mix of whitefish and flaxseed also helps support healthy skin and produce a shiny, soft coat. Wellness also insures excellent digestibility and maximum nutrient absorption through their Digestool™ confirmation studies - less nutrients in the stool means more nutrients stay in the body.

Wellness Complete Health Whitefish & Sweet Potato Dry Dog Food is available in 15 lb. and 30 lb. resealable bags.

(Based on a standard 8 oz. dry measuring cup)

Every dog is a little different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size and activity level. Please use the information above as an initial recommendation only and adjust as needed. Looking at the chart above, divide the total cups per day by the total times you feed your dog per day to determine the portion size for each meal.

Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Wellness believes in feeding dry and wet food in combination whenever possible to help increase the level of water in your dog's diet. Nutrition is only part of the equation! Be sure to give your dog plenty of love, plenty of exercise and see your veterinarian regularly to help ensure total wellness.

It is important to slowly transition your dog from his/her current diet as it takes a few days for the body to adapt to the new nutrient levels. To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5-7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness each day, so that you are feeding 100% Wellness by day 7.

For Puppies: Feed 25% more than the amounts listed above.
For Pregnant or Nursing Dogs: Feed 25% more than the amounts listed above.
For Dogs over 125 lbs.: Add 1/4 cup per additional 10 lbs.
Combination Feeding: If feeding with wet food, reduce dry amount by 1/3 cup for every 6 oz. of wet food.

Our Golden Retriever, Maggie, was having a lot of skin problems. We brought her to the Vet and he prescribed Antibiotics and Antihistamines but also suggested we feed her Wellness food. I immediately ordered a 30 pound bag and was told to gradually introduce the food. We have had no trouble with her adjusting to the new food and whether it is the medicine or the food she is back to having healthy skin and lots of energy. I will continue to feed her only the Wellness food as I never want to see her with the skin condition again :-)
